ARCO Group partnered with Property Managers Group, RS Eng & Ignite Architects throughout the early stages of this complex construction project to complete the redevelopment of the Farmers building in Whangarei. This was a complex project, where ARCO Group were able to add our expertise to in order to complete this project in a timely efficient and effective manner, whilst maintaining the budget set by our client. With this store remaining operational during normal work hours, ARCO Group managed the construction works so that there was minimal disruption to Farmers operations during the construction period, including whilst upgrading the interior of the building to meet the specification for our clients tenant.
This project involved the following:
- Re-level the existing concrete floor with an epoxy system
- Pile existing front of the building to support the floor structure
- Face-lift to the front of the building
- Concrete ramps & paths, including reforming section of road to comply
- Interior upgrade to suit new Farmers layout
- Associated wired services including the following:
- Mechanical & air conditioning upgrade
- Electrical upgrade throughout the building
- Lighting upgrade to change all lights to LED
- Fire alarm & sprinkler upgrade
- Finishes including the following:
- Carpet tiles throughout the store
- Painting of the complete exterior of the building
