Town Basin - HUB Redevelopment
The Whangarei District Council contracted ARCO Group Ltd to complete the major redevelopment of the existing HUB building at the Town Basin in Whangarei prior to the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
This project involved the following:
- Construction of 2x new large art galleries
- Kauri Clock Museum
- Information centre
- Storage facilities
- 2x Toilet amenities
- Upgrade of the exterior of the existing building
- Upgrade of the front yard area including paving & landscaping
- All associated services including:
- Electrical
- Data
- Security
- Mechanical
- Fire alarm
