Quest Whangarei offers a truly relaxing coastal experience like no other. Known as the city with 100 beaches – the cool cerulean waters, bright white sands and endless sunny days make up just one aspect of all that Whangarei has to offer. ARCO Group partnered with Quest Apartments to delivery this project through our early contractor engagement process, with ARCO Group managing the early stages, from pre-construction, design, engineering & the through to construction. ARCO provided design and value engineering services to our client to make sure this development was completed within the given budget. The project was completed to an excellent standard and to our clients’ absolute satisfaction.
This project involved the following:
- Preliminary site investigation works
- Feasibility study & buildability review for the geotechnical aspects of the property
- Architectural design, structural engineering, geotechnical investigations & report, fire reports, resource consent & building consent applications & approval
- Client budget & project costings alignment
- Demolition of 2 floors of concrete and structural steel building
- Construction of 2 new floors from a light weight structural steel and timber framing
- Complete fit-out of 34 studio rooms; 3400m2 of both one & two bed serviced apartments with retail shops below
