The Northland District Health Board approached ARCO Group to partner with them to expand their specialist dental services at the Kamo Dental site in Whangarei. ARCO Group worked alongside the NDHB to ensure a cost efficient & project specific delivery methodology was achieved, allowing the Kamo Dental to remain operational in part of the existing building, whilst we started the construction phase. ARCO Group extended to the build while also completing the interior office fit-out and new and improved dentist rooms. This is another example of how ARCO Group, goes above and beyond in our projects, to ensure our clients briefs, budgets, program’s and deliverables are delivered on.
This project involved the following:
- Kamo Dental information is as per below:
- 7x Dental treatment rooms
- 2x Recovery centres
- Instrument processing & preparation area
- Staff meeting & training areas
- Reception, processing & administration area
- Lunchroom & staff facilities
- 300m2 Basement storage
- Upgrade of the existing building including full replacement of all interior finishes
- Repaint the complete exterior of the building
- 900m2 concrete carpark and associated civils works & retaining walls
- All associated services
- All associated finishing trades
